The Kentucky Chess Association is governed by its bylaws. Scholastic competitions are organized according to the KCA's scholastic rules, the Blue Book.
The KCA holds its annual meeting of members each summer during the Kentucky Open tournament. Reports and presentations from these meetings are on the Annual Reports and Presentations page.
